GoodSearch Search Engine
Charlie Shanks, webmaster

Imagine contributing to St. Michael’s each time you search the Internet; not just for products, but for information!  You can do just that by searching with GoodSearch and shopping with GoodShop, while specifying Church of St. Michael the Archangel (Lexington, KY) as your designated charity!  GoodSearch and GoodShop are driven by the Yahoo Search engine.  You get the same search results.  The difference is that a portion of the proceeds from vendors’ paid advertising on the search results page is donated to St. Michael’s.  Permit cookies to be saved on your PC and the next time you return to GoodSearch the Church of St. Michael the Archangel (Lexington, KY) will already be selected.

Search the web with GoodSearch; each time you do a search, GoodSearch will donate about a penny to St. Michael’s!

Use

GoodShop

  • Search directly from the GoodSearch, webpage.  (is is the quickest for the new user).
  • Use the IE PluginGoodSearch IE Plugin which allows you to add GoodSearch to the "search providers list" in Internet Explorer’s built-in search box.  You can then use the search provider pull-down menu to set GoodSearch as your default IE search provider. (Internet 7 or later required.)
  • Use the Goodsearch Firefox plugin which allows you to add GoodSearch to the "search providers list" in Firefox’s built-in search box.  Again, use the pull-down menu to set GoodSearch as your default search provider.
