A recent paper mail letter to the 47% of our members without email addresses on file cost over $110 in postage and supplies. We sent the same mailing to the remaining 53% of our members via email. That cost the church $0 in postage and supplies and supplies and we have had nearly 3 times the response from the email as that from the paper mail.
Our New Rector Nominations Committee plans to use mail and email to keep you up on to date on their progress and involve you as much as they can in the process. Please help us to control the church's communications costs.
We now send out a weekly St. Michael's Matters email newsletter with event information, a weekly schedule, other news items, and soon more new features. If we don't have your email address you may miss out on this exciting new publication. Again, no postage or printing costs are associated with email.
If you are a member, have an email address, and are not currently receiving our weekly St. Michael's Matters email newsletter from the church, please complete the form below to add yourself to our Ministry Base and St. Michael's Matters list. We will store your email in our Online Ministry Database, Ministry Base, and send you a password, and send you our weekly email St. Michael's Matters newsletter,
If you do not have an email address, put "NEED@EMAIL" in the form where it asks for email address. The church office will forward your name to our webmaster. He or another e-assistant can help you get an email address and show you how to use it.
If you do not have a computer or internet access there is a public computer in the church hallway across from the stairwell and there are computers in all Lexington Public Library branches. The library also offers free computer classes.
