Celebration at St. Michael's

Hospitality is a central aspect of the ministry at St. Michael’s.  We gather together in community to serve and celebrate.  Through St. Michael's Nights Out, our Supper groups and our men's club, we enjoy fun and fellowship together.

Supper Groups

St. Michael's Supper Groups gather in homes to share a simple meal and get to know one another better.  The groups are autonomous and meet at various dates and times.  Hosting responsibilities rotate among members.

Men's Group

All St. Michael's men are members of Men’s Group.  The Men’s Group meets monthly on third Thursdays at 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Garden (weather permitting) or in the Old Undercroft.

Outside Groups

While breaking bread together is important in our worship and our community relationships within our parish, we open the doors of St. Michael's to various community organizations and groups.

Bluegrass Homeschool Learning Cooperative

The Bluegrass Homeschool Learning Cooperative meets at St. Michael's each Thursday throughout the school year for joint study opportunities.  More information can be found at the BHLC website.

This group meets in the Chapter Room from 10:00 AM to Noon, the third Saturday of each month. Project Linus has given over 13,000 blankets locally to sick or traumatized children. Read More

The Autism Society of the Bluegrass

The Autism Society of the Bluegrass, a resource and support group for families and professionals in the Central Kentucky area who are involved with autism, meets on the last Monday of each month from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the Chapter Room.  The society is a chapter of the Autism Society of America and provides education as well as scholarships for continuing autism-related education.  Contact Sara Spragens for information.

EAGLE: Embracing Asperger Gifts and Life Experience

EAGLE's mission is to support, uplift and embrace families and adults living with Asperger Syndrome and help persons living with Asperger's discern their gifts. OUR GOALS The goals of EAGLE are: (a) Advocacy on behalf of persons with Asperger's (e.g., workplace and employment advocacy). (b) Social activities for young adults with Asperger's. (3) Support and resources for families and parents of person's with Asperger Syndrome.  Contact Kay Wright for information.
