St. Michael's Supper Groups are an informal, small-group ministry of
hospitality. Groups of about eight parishioners are formed to share
meals in their homes and get to know one another better. Each couple or
individual in a group hosts one meal during the cycle, typically at
intervals of about a month. Each group determines the best time for its
gatherings, each decides whether to include participants’ children, and
each has the option of inviting a newcomer or a member of the Vestry,
Clergy or Staff to gatherings. Don’t be shy if you are a single; there
are many singles out there to pair up with for these fun groups!
Supper Groups reorganize each fall and spring so parishioners may get to know more people at St. Michael's. Watch for sign-up sheets on the bulletin boards in the Narthex. This is a great way to get to know a cross-section of St. Michael's population.
