Our Nursery Board meets the 1st Sunday of each month after the 10:30 a.m. Worship service in the nursery. The nursery board oversees the hiring process for our nursery staff and provides long-term vision for the nursery.
In conjunction with the Christian Formation Committee, we work to provide quality child care for children thru age 3 years during Sunday worship services, Sunday church school and during some other larger events. Our two hired staff, Emily Rinker and Melanie Baggerman, are certified in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid and are experienced in working with infants and toddlers.
Anyone with an interest in joining the Nursery Board or volunteering in the nursery is cordially invited to join our group. Please contact Patty Webb, Casey Hinds or the parish office.
The nursery is available during Sunday church school classes and worship services. Parents are welcome to either leave the children in the nursery duing services or bring the children to the service. Several parents bring the children to the nursery for the first part of the service and then pick up the children at the start of the Eucharist.
