The Vestry is the elected body responsible for administrative oversight of the parish.  The Vestry is split into 3 classes of 4 persons.  Each class serves for 3 years.  One class is elected at each annual Church Meeting, held after a combined service on or about the Sunday nearest the Feast of Saint Michael.  If a member is unable or unwilling to fulfill the 3 year term then the Vestry elects an interim to hold the seat until the following Church Meeting when a person is elected to complete the term, if necessary.

Saint Michael's Needs Your Help!

We need your presence, your ideas, and your prayers!  The standing committees and ministry focus groups need your help now.  All of us working together can continue the enriching programs we already have, and can begin the work of adding the programs we need at St. Michael’s.  Be involved in the future of St. Michael’s.

Standing Committees and Ministry Focus Groups

Follow the channel links in the navigation menu at left to the WORSHIP, FORMATION, PASTORAL CARE, OUTREACH, and STEWARDSHIP pages. The Standing Committees each have a document link from their associated pages.  Look at the qualifications for membership, the description of what the group does, when it meets, etc.  If you are interested in becoming a member of the group please contact the parish office to request a contact from a leader from one of these groups.  Your request will be forwarded to the appropriate person.

We encourage every member to get a name tag and wear it at church worship, meetings, and other parish functions.  If you need a new name tag you may fill out the form and submit it.  A paper request form is also available in the Narthex.  Your new tag sould be ready in a two or three weeks.  Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.  Keep an eye on the tag-board in the Narthex for your new tag.  Tags are kept in semi-alphabetic order by last name.
