Outreaching Hands
Outreaching Hands
You Need Outreach
Mark Leaver, Outreach Chair

That's not backwards.  I won't trot out one of those little sayings of Jesus that guilt us into trading TV time for helping others.  Think of it more as a spiritual exercise; it may not be the first thing we would choose to do, but after it's over, don't we feel better for having done it?

The Saint Michael’s mission statement calls us “To reach out to the world, sharing freely from our blessings.”  We encourage each member to participate in these or other community projects.

We are trying to reach two groups of people.

  • Firstly, if you currently head an outreach group, I may or may not know about you.  Make sure I do.
  • Secondly, if you feel this is where your ministry is calling you.  ...or if that sounds too heavy, how about "I'd like to help"?
