Kathy Baggerman, Chapter President
Daughters of the King is an Episcopal order for women dedicated to a discipline of prayer. The order was founded in the 1800’s with the primary mission of prayer. We also support the clergy and evangelism, and are dedicated to spreading Christ’s Kingdom and strengthening the spiritual life of St. Michael’s.
St. Michael’s has a strong chapter of dedicated women that meets once a month over a bag lunch to share prayer requests and concerns so they can take them home and pray over the list each day. We meet on the first Sunday of the month in the Chapter Room at 12:30 PM. Look for women wearing the Daughters of the King cross. Our activities include monthly meetings, annual diocesan assembly and annual retreat at the Domain. Our chapter always welcomes new members.

The Sacrament of Unction
Sacraments are outward and visible signs of inward and spiritual grace, given by Christ as sure and certain means by which we receive that grace. Grace is God’s favor towards us, unearned and undeserved. By grace God forgives our sins, enlightens our minds, stirs our hearts, and strengthens our wills. The Sacrament of Unction is the rite of anointing the sick with oil, or the laying on of hands, by which God’s grace is given for the healing of spirit, mind and body.
Lay Healing Ministers
Healing Ministers are lay volunteers who assist in worship through the imposition of Unction and the offering of prayer. We offer Unction and prayer during the Eucharist at all morning services on the 4th Sunday of each month.

Integrity is a model for reaching out and welcoming all who share a vision of inclusiveness. God commands us to love one another. We glorify God by doing so.
St. Michael’s provides a spiritual sanctuary, bringing people to God and God to people, so that Christ's nourishing gifts of love and hospitality may be given, received, and extended outward to the world.
All members are encouraged to fully participate in the larger St. Michael’s community. We continue to welcome all persons into this congregation. Some GLBT persons feel the need to stay connected with spiritual-minded GLBT persons. Integrity fulfills this mission as a witness within the Episcopal Church and the community. The Diocese Integrity group meet at St. Martha's Episcopal Church for periodic meetings and events. Visit Lexington Integrity for more information.

PEACE is a fellowship and support group for parents dealing with challenges involving their adult children.
The group meets in the Chapter Room one Sunday a month following the last morning service for a potluck sandwich/salad lunch, discussion and prayer. New participants are always welcome.
