Hospitality is a central aspect of lay ministry at St. Michael's.  We believe that breaking bread together is a mutual ministry in which all members of the parish can participate.  It is a way to celebrate in community, to support one another in times of grief, to share our gifts of food with one another, to meet and get to know one another better.

Parish-wide meals and parties are frequently featured at church, in conjunction with various services and celebrations throughout the year.  Supper Groups are small groups that meet for a season to host simple meals in one another's homes.  Parishioners contribute to the Sunday morning Coffee Hour by making coffee and bringing snacks every week.  In these and many other ways, we show hospitality to one another.
