Daughters of the King is an Episcopal order for women dedicated to a group discipline of prayer. The order was founded in the 1800’s with the primary mission of prayer. We also support the clergy and evangelism, and are dedicated to spreading Christ’s Kingdom and strengthening the spiritual life of St. Michael’s.
St. Michael’s has a strong chapter of 8-10 dedicated women that meets once a month over a bag lunch to share prayer requests and concerns so they can take them home and pray over the list each day. We meet on the first Sunday of the month in the Chapter Room after the 11:15 A.M. Eucharist (starts about 12:30 P.M.). Look for women wearing the Daughters of the King cross. Our activities include monthly meetings, annual diocesan assembly and annual retreat at the Domain.
Our chapter always welcomes new members. Please contact Kathy Baggerman or call the church office.
