Rector  in the Interim

The Rev. Dr. Joan Pritcher serves as Rector in the Interim at St. Michael's.  Mtr. Pritcher has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in Christian Education, and a Ph. D. in Liturgics from Emory University.  Her early ministerial experience was in the Baptist church, and she became an Episcopal priest in 1994.
 
Joan’s extensive interim ministry experience began in 2001 and she earned certification as an Interim Ministry Specialist in 2005.  She has served as Rector in the Interim in more than five parishes in the South and brings many skills to St. Michael’s.  Her personal ministry statement is “I value people, enjoy worship and pastoral care, and am excited by the challenge of administration.”
