The Youth Church School that meets each Sunday at 10:10 AM in the Youth Room (in the Undercroft) is on Summer Break until August 5th. 

We officially have a youth group room!  The following items are needed (and some just very much wanted) to complete our room.  If you have an item on the list that you would like to donate, please see Candice.

Come to a Cathedral Domain Summer Camp! Mini-camp (attendees of 1st & 2nd grades) to Senior Conference (grades 9-12) and Everything in between, there’s a camp for you.  Start planning now! 

In 2007 the Federal Government passed a law entitled The Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act requiring upgrades to all the pools in the country.  The cost of upgrading The Domain pool will be at least $82,000..  These improvements MUST be completed before the beginning of the 2009 Camp Season or there will be NO POOL THIS SUMMER!  Your tax deductible contribution to help defray these costs will be greatly appreciated..  Please send your check to The Cathedral Domain, 800 HWY 1746, Irvine, KY 40336-8701 and write POOL on the memo line.

On Sunday afternoon when you head up Highway 1746, the fun begins.  After checking in, you head to your cabin where you will meet your counselors (16 years old & older who have completed the Safeguarding God's Children-Prevention of Sexual Misconduct or PoSM).  Then it's off to the camp nurse's office (he or she will be at camp all week) and then your swimming test.  You will be tested on your swimming ability (by certified lifeguards), then back to your cabin.  After getting to know your cabin mates and counselors, it's time for dinner. 

I am overwhelmingly excited about the St. Michael's youth!  We have revitalized the Youth Sunday School and Youth Group and I am looking forward to many activities and outreach events!
