Share love this ChristmasThis year, St. Michael's continues our tradition of providing Christmas gifts to every resident of the Lexington-Fayette Juvenile Detention Center. For many of the children, these are the only gifts they receive on Christmas morning.

Each gift contains a brand new book. Books must be purchased from an approved list. You can find the list on Amazon here.
Purchase the books and have them shipped directly to the registry address or to your own home and bring them into the church--you choose! Books need to be received by Friday, December 19th. In the coming weeks (usually the Sunday following Thanksgiving) a tree will appear in the church lobby with tags containing items needed to complete the gift bags. Please take a tag from the tree so we have enough of each item! These items needs to be at St. Michael's by Friday, December 19th. Shopping not for you? Make a financial donation online or Sundays in the offering plate and note Youth Detention Christmas. We'll take care of the rest! We'll collect the funds and purchase any remaining gifts needed. |

Whether or not you can contribute to the items in the bags, you are invited to give of your time and gift wrap the books with us on the afternoon of Sunday, December 21st. Following our Tots and Toddlers pageant, come enjoy cookies and cocoa with St. Nick, and spend some time in community as we share the joy of Christmas. Lots of help is needed!
