music at st. michael's
Music has been a part of Christian worship since the time of Christ. Through song, we celebrate, mourn, pray, rejoice, worship, and learn. Our music program at St. Michael's is open to anyone who has a desire to sing. No previous musical experience in necessary. You don't even have to be an Episcopalian or a member of St. Michael's!
Singing in a group has been shown to reduce stress and tension, improve our breathing, exercise the brain, and improve our immune systems. While many schools have eliminated their music programs for children, we at St. Michael's think musical education and formation is so important, we offer of music programs to all, regardless of their faith.
Our Interim Music Director Brian Hunt can be contacted via our staff page.
