Music at St. Michael's

St. Michael’s has a tradition of rich and varied music in worship under the talented leadership of Ruth Witt, Director of Music Ministries. The simplicity of Taize Chant, the energy of African Spirituals, and a the tradition of a full choir enliven the worship and deepen the experience of parishioners. Singers and appreciators are welcome! We have several choir opportunities for singers of all abilities. Contact the Church Office for information.

During this time of the Coronavirus our choir has been gathering via Zoom on Wednesdays. The choir has been practicing singing together at these gatherings and keeping their voices strong by doing singing drills. Choir members have also been offering their singing at the recording of our Morning Prayer service each week.

Faith Formation & Religious Education
​We're delighted to offer congregants and visitors opportunities to ask questions about the Bible, learn more about Christianity, and be inspired by one another to live our Christian faith. We also offer Confirmation classes to those who are new to Christianity, new to the Episcopal church, or who simply want to know more about the Episcopal church.

Vacation Church School
We are planning a Vacation Church Camp for children in July, joining with The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Jessamine County and Our Savior Episcopal Church in Madison County.
