Who has not found the heaven below
Will fail of it above
God’s residence is next to mine,
His furniture is love

Garden #1 - The Courtyard Garden
Flowers, shrubs and trees surround a central area of brick paving. This garden, squeezed in between the parish house and the church buildings, is a great place for quiet reflection or conversation. On weekday mornings from early fall until late spring, the children from the church school take turns, class by class, to ascend to the adjacent playground; interesting conversations can be overheard as they learn to walk in line, safely hold on to the handrail, and get along with each other. Without the children, it’s mostly the plants that speak here, different ones through the seasons, from spring wildflowers to colorful fall asters and goldenrods.
