Caring About Community
We're committed to helping make Lexington a better city for those who live here. This means sharing our time and treasure with local groups. We delight in making space available to community organizations and have a special place in our hearts for the arts. For information about using our space for a play, concert, or gathering, contact the Church Office at mail@saint-michaels.org
Saint Michael's is also home to a number of addiction support groups. Click here for more information |

Fight Against Hunger
Ongoing The Saint Michael's Defenders meet regularly to actively combat hunger in our community by volunteering on the Second and Third Monday of each month at the Cambridge Pantry. Click here for more information. Backpack Ministry
In partnership with God's Pantry, we pack bags (backpacks) of food on Sundays that are delivered to a local elementary school. Children who attend school are given these bags of food so they will have food for each weekend. Gardens and Creation Care
Seasonal Our grounds are a place of peace, play, and prayer for our neighborhood. Groups within our church tend our gardens, actively practicing stewardship of God’s creation. |
VA Bingo
1st Thursdays 6:30-8:00 PM Bingo as you've never seen it played! For almost 40 years, we've provided recreational therapy to disabled military veterans in Lexington's VA hospitals. Bring sandwiches, snacks, desserts, and drinks to share. Parishioners are always welcomed to donate to the “Bingo Quarter Fund.” Little Library and Reading Garden
Ongoing Discover and explore the Little Library in our reading garden. Recycle favorites, discover new ones, and sit in peace to read. Kentucky Refugee Ministries
Ongoing God speaks clearly to us: Love the outsider as you love yourself; treat them as full citizens. St. Michael's works with Kentucky Refugee Ministries to welcome refugees to the Lexington area to promote self-sufficiency and successful integration into our community. |
